Nicola Benedetti Workshop

On Friday 2 October, Hugo Max was invited to take part in a musical workshop with the world famous Nicola Benedetti at the Royal Albert Hall. Hugo, who is a very talented musician in Year 9, began the day registering and absorbing the welcomes and introductions, after taking part in a short Q&A session with the Scottish classical violinist.

The day ran from 10am to 1.30pm and participants were asked, in advanced, to bring in their own instruments. The workshop took the form of a string chamber orchestra and focussed on the moment of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, where Hugo had the fantastic opportunity of playing alongside Nicola.
