Any good ski trip contains three things: great people, great weather, and great fun; this year was no different. Though the journey there was long and tiring, we arrived full of anticipation in Alpe d’Huez, where the fresh snowfall welcomed us with open arms, and we settled in full of expectation for the week ahead. The first few days of skiing were especially great; after a snowy Monday the skies cleared and the sun, combined with the scenic views over the valleys, brought out the true beauty of the mountains.

The camaraderie between the boys and teachers was great throughout. Every evening was full of laughs and chat, and the quiz, run by the U6, was a great occasion.

On behalf of the boys, we must give a huge thank you to Mr. Lee, whose meticulous organisation and steadfast commitment to the trip made it great. Thanks also must go to the ever-present Mr. Simm, our guardian angel Mr. Hardman and nicest-person-ever-to-live Mr. Bartlett.
