The Spring 2015 Edition of the HABS Literary Journal, Scribe, is out now. Hard copies are being circulated in school, while you can download a PDF file for viewing on computer, tablet or Kindle by clicking the image below.

Events in France around the time of the Charlie Hebdo tragedy evidently struck a chord with our budding creative writers, satirists and journalists, judging by the level of interest in issues of press freedom and the power of the written word which arise in this edition. Editor Jordan Bernstein (L6R1) once again provided outstanding leadership as he guided the 12-strong editorial team towards the final copy, encouraging editors to apply stringent levels of precision to their textual editing, and commissioning superb and apt artwork from the artists. As ever, the Editorial Evening (sponsored by Domino’s Pizza and Coca Cola) saw frenetic work, and reasonably accomplished banter, from the entire team who stayed after school long and late to put together the finished product.
