A warm welcome

from Dr Hazel Bagworth-Mann, Headmistress

Our purpose at Habs is to empower every student to make a profound impact in the world. Our commitment is deeply rooted in enabling our young people to succeed academically, but also to develop independence, resilience and a strong moral compass to create positive change. We believe in nurturing leaders who can influence society positively and inspire those around them through kindness and worthwhile actions. Our school values of Ambition, Curiosity, Courage and Community are embedded in all we do.

We are an academically ambitious school and we are proud of our students’ academic achievements. They achieve at the highest levels and go on to study at top universities in this country and abroad. However, passing exams and securing places at leading institutions is only one very small part of it. We encourage a culture of scholarship and intellectual curiosity and we want our students to develop a deep love of learning – a real passion for their subjects whilst fostering critical thinking.

We constantly challenge our students to push beyond conventional exam-based learning through our dynamic curriculum and wide array of co-curricular activities and partnerships. Together, these diverse opportunities cultivate personal attributes like character, independence, teamwork and effective communication.

We value each student uniquely, supporting their pursuit of happiness and personal growth. Creating a strong sense of belonging where every student can flourish is central to our pastoral ethos. We instil in our students the value of taking charge and embracing leadership roles. Whether it is in Sport, Music, the Arts, CCF, or through our diverse partnership programmes, we empower students to understand their contribution to building a stronger, more united community while enjoying the journey.

By fostering academic excellence, personal growth and community engagement, we equip our students to leave us fully prepared to make a profound impact in the world.

Parking arrangements

We are expecting a high volume of cars throughout the day and would ask you to allow time for this, especially when arriving via Aldenham Road to the dedicated entrances.
Please enter the school via the main school gate on Aldenham Road on WD6 3BT and park on the fields as directed by our marshals.

No dogs are permitted on site at any time. This is an important health and safety measure to protect the playing fields and campus from any soiling. The only exception is dogs belonging to on-site residents and Guide Dogs. Your co-operation in this matter is appreciated.
