There was much excitement in the Bourne Hall on the afternoon of Wednesday 11 May as our annual Year 7 Family History Exhibition and Tea took place. Every student in Year 7, as part of their study of History, has researched an aspect of their own family history and this has included an interview with a relative. The students then put together their research into displays.

We were delighted to host an exhibition in the Bourne Hall alongside a large group of interviewees, including parents, grandparents and other relatives. We are grateful for so many relatives of our students sharing their poignant historical memories that are captured in the projects. Alongside the Headmaster, Mr Lock, and the Head of History, Mr Clark, three Lower Sixth students spoke to the audience in an eloquent and enthusiastic manner about their own projects which they produced five years ago and the vast range of topics which they have enjoyed studying in their History lesson since then.

The afternoon was a great opportunity to share the wonderful projects the students have produced and to celebrate their love of History and the diversity of the Habs community.
