At Habs, we encourage all our students to pursue their passions and advocate for causes that matter to them, whether inside the classroom or outside.

Moksha (5AC) has done just that – she has been advocating tirelessly for sustainability and the protection of our planet. Her passion, commitment and early-start advocacy have led to her receiving numerous awards for her work, including the UK Prime Minister’s Points of Light Award and the British Citizen Youth Award. She is also one of the youngest members of the UN climate change youth group, YOUNGO.

Now, as Ambassador for UN Water Week, Moksha presents the documentary ‘Sky Kids Investigates: Are We Running Out of Water?’, which will air on Saturday 8 November at 2.30pm on Sky News. The film will explore how climate change is threatening water security and what children in the UK can do to contribute to futureproofing this vital resource.

The significance of Moksha’s work extends further still – her documentary will be screened at COP30 in Belém, Brazil next week, where she will call directly on world-leaders to act now to ensure water security for everyone, everywhere.

We are proud to say that Moksha embodies the spirit of Habs – curious, courageous, globally aware and driven to make a profound impact.

We encourage the entire Habs community to tune in to the broadcast on Saturday, and to support Moksha’s live appearance on Sky Breakfast at 8.15 am on the same day.

At Habs, we believe in nurturing ambition, curiosity, resilience and a moral compass and Moksha’s achievement is a vivid example of what our community strives for each day. Well done for all your hard work, Moksha!
