We encourage our students to think about much more than their academic subjects.
To help them develop as well-rounded people with lots of interests and soft skills, we offer a huge range of co-curricular activities. These take place after school, at lunchtimes and at weekends.
Our well-rounded education offers exciting opportunities beyond the classroom. Students can take part in programmes such as Combined Cadet Force (CCF), community engagement and Duke of Edinburgh awards at Bronze, Silver or Gold.
At Habs Girls, students can get involved in choirs, bands and orchestras. There are lots of opportunities for public performance, with some students joining leading national groups.
There are roles for everyone to enjoy, both front and back of house. Besides performing, students can be a stage manager, set designer, playwright, lighting or sound technician, costume designer, makeup artist, prop-maker or video designer.
Our students enjoy around 30 co-curricular sports, whether just for fun or competing at a high level. Different sports are offered according to the season, all provided by our large team of sports staff and visiting specialists.
Our 70+ clubs and societies inspire students to pursue broad interests. They can even start their own. From Science Club to calligraphy, debating to Model United Nations, there is something for everyone. Taking part is also great preparation for university ‘socs’.
Going out into the world brings an exciting new perspective, whether exploring the local countryside or heading on an overseas adventure. Our busy schedule includes field trips, galleries, museums, sports, music, leisure and more.
