While you are studying for your A Levels, we encourage you to think about much more than your academic subjects.
Working alongside Habs Girls, we collaborate together to offer a wealth of opportunities to pursue your interests and develop new ones. These will help you to become a well-rounded individual, with plenty to offer university admissions tutors and future employers.
Outdoor education
Enjoy exciting personal development opportunities. Choose from the Combined Cadet Force (CCF), Duke of Edinburgh awards and volunteering.
Performance music
Music at Habs is outstanding. With our extensive ensemble line-up, you will have the opportunity to develop your musicality, whatever the genre. Ensembles large and small, professional and beginner, we cater for the very best musical talent and those just starting out. Our orchestras, bands, choirs and other chamber groups regularly perform in school and public performance, with a number of our students performing in leading national ensembles.
Performance drama
You can play an integral role in all facets of our productions with roles for everyone, front and back of house. In addition to performance roles, you can also lead and support productions as stage manager, set designer, playwright, lighting or sound technician, costume designer, makeup artist, prop-maker or video designer.
Sport
We have around 30 co-curricular sports to choose from, whether for fun, fitness or competing at a high level. These are provided by our large team of sports staff and visiting specialists.
Clubs and activities
Our 70+ clubs and societies will inspire you to pursue broad interests. You can even start your own. From Science Club to calligraphy, debating to Model United Nations, there truly is something for everyone. Taking part is also great preparation for university societies.
Trips
Going out into the world brings an exciting new perspective, whether exploring the local countryside or heading on an overseas adventure. Our busy schedule includes field trips, galleries, museums, sports, music, leisure and more.
