Being a Governor of the Haberdashers’ Elstree Schools is a great privilege. Governors give freely of their time, experience, and expertise, to ensure the continuing success of the Schools and play a critical role in helping the Schools prepare the next generation to make a profound impact in the world.
Our Governors bring to the Schools a broad range of relevant expertise and experience from the education sector and the wider world. Half of our Governors are provided by The Haberdashers’ Company, and it is a source of great pride that students at Habs Elstree are part of a wider family of schools that educate over 10,000 pupils at 18 different Haberdashers’ Schools, in both the maintained and independent sectors. Profiles of our Governors can be found below.
As Governors we are guided by the core aim of seeking to ensure that the decisions we make, and the policies and structures we adopt, realise positive outcomes for all our students, staff, parents/guardians and the communities we serve.
