Habs Girls and Habs Boys continue to deliver excellent single sex education up to GCSEs, while benefitting from a co-educational setting. Our class of 2024, were the first Sixth Form cohort to have been taught at least one of their A level subjects in a co-educational class, alongside their co-ed Habs Diploma lessons. We made these changes to help our students better prepare for life at university and to flourish in today’s global and technologically driven workplace.
As an academically ambitious school we challenge our students above and beyond any exam curriculum. It is through this broad curriculum that we develop their personal skills and attributes. By enabling students to achieve the highest academic outcomes, to grow personally, and to invest in our community, we can be sure that they will leave us fully equipped to make their own profound impact in the world.
Alongside their outstanding achievements today, all our students have also completed their Habs Diploma. We launched the Habs Diploma to transcend the traditional curriculum, instilling lifelong habits in our students. All students have engaged with five components in the Diploma (Elective courses, Subject Enhancement, an Extended Research Project, the Visiting Speaker Programme and Community Service), preparing for life beyond school, so they leave as even more interesting and interested individuals ready take their place in society.
