Habs was founded on philanthropy, and it remains at the heart of our ethos. Your gift means we can continue to provide an outstanding education for future generations of Habs students. It also brings us one step closer to when any student who would thrive at Habs can attend, regardless of financial means.
The Foundation
Habs was founded on a conviction that capable students deserve the best possible education, regardless of family wealth or connections. Alongside that was a belief that those who have success in life should give back to the community.
Old Haberdashers
The alumni of Habs Girls and Habs Boys are known as ‘Old Haberdashers’, and the bonds they form as students often last a lifetime. It is not unusual to have Old Haberdashers come back for a 50 year reunion in the company of a close friend made in class, or with a spouse they met on the school coach.
