2025 has been an incredible year for Habs Girls; an outstanding ISI inspection, two glowing Good Schools’ Guide reviews for the Junior and Senior School and last week’s record-breaking A Level results – demonstrating the school’s progress and academic ambition.

Following our outstanding A Level results we are thrilled to announce our Year 11 cohort have surpassed all records for the top GCSE grades:

  • 52% of all GCSEs awarded were at Grade 9
  • 80% of all GCSEs awarded were at Grade 9-8
  • 93% of all GCSEs awarded were at Grade 9-7

Their results are the culmination of exceptional commitment and hard work. Further details include:

  • 1 in 4 received eight or more Grade 9s
  • 94% students achieved a Grade 9 or 8 in Maths
  • Greek, Drama, French, German, Latin, Music and RE results were all above 88% Grade 9 or 8

Mrs Camilla Milsom, our new Assistant Head – Head of Sixth Form is looking forward to welcoming students into our Sixth Form. Mrs Milsom will be supported by our new team – Mr Daniel Foster, Deputy Head of Sixth Form Year 12 and Mrs Holly Levy, Deputy Head of Sixth Form Year 13.

When you join our Sixth Form, all students take the Habs Diploma. From September 2025 we are pleased to announce that we have introduced the EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) into the Habs Diploma. This enables Sixth Form students to choose between the EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) or ERP (Extended Research Project) as part of their Habs Diploma.

Sixth Formers will be taught at least one of their A Level subjects in a co-educational class. Our co-educational classes in both the Girls’ School and Boys’ School have excelled across their academic disciplines, demonstrating the ‘best of both worlds’ for our students. Subjects taught in the Girls’ School that achieved more than 80% of grades at A* or A include: Art, Classical Civilisation, DT, English Literature, Further Maths, History, Music, Politics and Spanish. A remarkable 89% of grades in Further Maths were awarded an A*. Similarly subjects taught in the Boys’ School that achieved more than 80% of grades at A* or A include: DT, English Literature, Computer Science, Further Maths, Geography, Philosophy, Religious Education and Spanish.

Well done to each and everyone of our Year 11 students. We are so proud of them all. GCSE results day is a celebration of not just academic achievements but also the different journeys each of our students have been on to reach their goals. We are looking forward to welcoming them in our Sixth Form
