The Computing department was delighted to welcome back a former student, Natalie Kay, to speak to the our students who are doing Computer Science GCSE or will be next year. Natalie is currently working as a Senior Software Engineering at Bloomberg. During her talk she explained her route into becoming a coder, what a Software Engineer does and why she thinks the students should consider a job in this field. The students found her presentation very engaging (particularly enjoying designing an algorithm for making a peanut butter sandwich) and were inspired by her journey into this field.
