Creative writing workshop

On Wednesday 22 June, Middle 5 received a talk on creative writing from Cecilia Knappl. Her talk was interactive and insightful, and inspired the students to explore creative thoughts in preparation for our upcoming GCSE English language creative writing coursework. The talk included analysing different poems followed by writing our own poems, using the prompts she had previously given us. During the talk, students enjoyed discovering different ways in which they could express our emotions, thoughts and experiences on paper. This gave students a wider understanding of their own abilities to write whilst also allowing us to discover the joy of creative writing.
