The Habs Elstree Schools community took an exciting step into the future, as pupils from across the Prep and Junior Schools buried a special time capsule to mark the future 50th anniversary of Little Habs Nursery.
Filled with memories, messages and mementoes that capture life at Habs today, the capsule was sealed and buried, ready to be reopened in July 2076, offering future generations a glimpse into the experiences, hopes and achievements of today’s children.
The occasion not only celebrated an important milestone for the nursery but also reflected the strong sense of community that defines Habs Elstree Schools. By contributing their own keepsakes and messages, pupils created a lasting connection between present and future children, honouring our past, celebrating our present and inspiring future generations.
We are looking ahead with excitement as we prepare to welcome our inaugural cohort of babies and children this September, marking the beginning of a new chapter as we extend our commitment to nurturing and inspiring young learners from the very start of their educational journey.
