The MFL department at the Girls’ School recently ran a cake competition to celebrate European Day of Languages. The winner of this competition was Sofia Lavelle in the U5 who made a beautiful cake which looks like a Valencia paella and is make with Seville oranges. I have included some photos of her cake and a time lapse video of her making the individual grains of “paella rice” out of icing.
