Hertsmere Youth Council

On Wednesday 21st March, six representatives of Year 6 attended Hertsmere’s 11th Annual Youth Conference. The boys learnt about the role of Hertsmere Borough Council including the importance of a democracy, voting and taxes. Throughout the day the boys took on the role of council members, debating which charity they wanted to support as well as having to decide how the budget was to be split and dealing with budget cuts. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the day.
