Habs Prep School is a nurturing learning environment where everything we do is rooted in our four core values: ambition, curiosity, courage, and community.
Across Key Stage 2, we aim to inspire and encourage every child to reach their full potential. Our learning opportunities are broad and exciting, extending well beyond the classroom. From outdoor education and the Independent Project Qualification to a wide range of specialist teaching, we provide experiences that spark curiosity, foster independence, and build confidence.
Boys in Years 3 to 6 wear full school uniform three days a week and sports kit two days a week when they have a Games or PE lessons. The school day begins at 8.30am, although you can drop your son off any time after 8.00am via the one-way Drop and Go system.
Across the week, Key Stage 2 boys are taught by specialist teachers for the following subjects:

This takes place at the Girls’ School, so you will need to drop your child off at the Habs Girls’ Dining Room entrance at the rear of the building. If your son will need a school breakfast, they must arrive by 7.45am. This way, we can make sure they eat a suitable amount of breakfast. A member of staff will collect the boys and walk them over to the Prep. There is an additional charge for Breakfast Club.
After 4.00pm after-school care is run by Premier Education and available at an additional charge and finishes at 6.00pm. We have a wide range of after school clubs available and these are shared with parents termly.

Boys in Years 3 to 6 are able to have a snack during morning break (10.15am). You can send your son in to school with a range of permitted snacks to school.
Your son will have lunch in our Prep Dining Room (Bates), where they are provided with a nutritious school meal from a range of choices prepared to meet a wealth of dietary needs.
Each boy receives a coloured wristband. Some may wear more than one, indicating their dietary requirements:
