Come and visit both Habs Boys and Habs Girls at our first joint open day

As a Habs Boy’s parent or guardian, you automatically become a member of the Guild, run by both Prep and Senior School parents.

It is a great way for parents and guardians to get to know each other, and get more involved in school life. You will meet people across the year groups and within your child’s house. The Guild committee organises a number of social and fundraising events throughout the school year including a quiz, summer fair and social evenings.

The Guild’s goals

The Guild is a strategic partner for Habs Boys. The aim is to enhance the education and enrichment of each student across all year groups, while creating opportunities for engagement with the wider school community. Specifically, the goals are to:

Deepen relationships and foster a greater sense of community between pupils, parents, guardians and staff by organising social events
Fundraise, then use the proceeds to enhance the education and enrichment of the students
Improve communication, involvement and parent engagement (through class and house representatives) making sure joint, schools-wide initiatives are being promoted at classroom level
Actively support the school to harness the skillbase and talent of the parent body
Actively support the school’s environmental and sustainability policy at any Guild events, and through any Guild merchandise

Habs Boys Merchandise

At school events, the Guild sells a variety of Habs Boys branded merchandise. They are a great way for students to show their pride in the school, while also raising funds.

Please let us know if:

You could help at events
You have any special talents to offer (e.g. face painting, speaking, etc.)
Your business could offer anything to be used at events at cost, or a reduced price
Your business would consider sponsoring an event
You have any great ideas

Volunteering at events is a fun, rewarding way to get involved in the Habs community and meet other parents from across the school.
