Orchestral concert - St John's, Smith Square

Music is central to life at Habs, exceptional both in it’s quality and breadth of opportunity. We have over 70 ensembles a week and one of the most dynamic concert programmes in the country. Through music we can make memories that last a lifetime.

Ensembles

At Habs we believe that every student should feel the joy of playing in an ensemble.

Whilst we have one of the strongest school orchestras in the country, an award-winning Big Band and a leading chamber music programme, we are dedicated to offering opportunity for all. A tiered structure of ensembles that commits to leaving no student behind.

We are immensely proud of the breath of our offering. You can access all genres of music from classical music, jazz, Indian music, to rock bands and songwriting, all guided by our expert team of staff.

Collaboration with the Girls School is an exciting area of development, bringing together our students for ambitious projects, working with guest conductors and performing in incredible spaces.

Our busy concert schedule is designed to keep every rehearsal alive with purpose, and ensure that all students take to the stage regularly, building confidence and feeling the buzz of sharing music with others.
