The school sends its congratulations to Sahil, in upper sixth for winning the Roentgenium award for the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge.
The award was presented to Sahil by Dr Wothers (St Catherine’s College, University of Cambridge) and a director from ARAMCO in a ceremony at the prestigious Goldsmiths Hall, London on the 12th December. This year only 0.76% (55/7229) of students whom entered the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge achieved this highest award from the University of Cambridge. Sahil was also invited to give a talk on an element of his choice in front of the C3L6 committee and other award winners.

Aside from winning this award Sahil also won an invitation to a free residential camp at the University of Cambridge at the end of August. He along with the other winners experienced university life by living and dining in college, and attending lectures and practicals in the University Chemistry department and had this to say about the experience ‘The C3L6 camp was a fantastic opportunity that introduced me to real problem solving in chemistry and helped catalyse my love for the discipline. I had a great time, met lots of new chemistry enthusiasts and had the privilege of being lectured by Dr. Wothers himself. Would recommend 10/10.’

The school is immensely proud and would like to congratulate Sahil on his achievement.
