Somerset visit

Our Year 6 boys stayed in an old manor house at Nettlecombe Court in Taunton, Somerset, at the end of May.

The house offered lovely accommodation, each room complete with its own spectacular view of the rolling countryside. The activities they participated in included visiting pebble beaches to study longshore drift and erosion, orienteering, mammal trapping and rock pooling. Rock pooling proved a real favourite because of all the fascinating creatures!
