Field day sailing course for Year 10 cadets

Nineteen Royal Navy CCF cadets completed a long series of short races, enjoying on-water coaching and healthy competition in mild to moderate breezes.

It is testimony to the School’s ongoing investment in sailing development over many years that we are able to run a large scale sailing event such as this safely and effectively using only in-house resources.

Our boys behaved impeccably well throughout the day, throwing themselves (sometimes literally) into every aspect of the event.
