Year 8 Golfers win Arkley Junior Challenge

Nine golfers from years 7 and 8 represented HABS at the second Arkley Junior Golf Challenge on Tuesday 24th March.

The A team of Arjun Parmar, Vageesh Singh and Arnav Sawhney scored 33 stableford points to lift the winners trophy, and Arjun also picked up the prize for the straightest drive on the 8th hole which was less than a foot from the centre line! Mr McIntosh also picked up the staff prize for scoring 21 points over the 9 hole course.

The B team of Anay Sharma, Joe Nissim and Ethan Myers were just pipped for the runners up spot on 28 points, while the C team of Zak Rickless, Chinmay Mullapudi and Kiaan Patel were back in the pack.

We hope that the boys will use this experience to work on their games over the coming summer to improve their handicaps.
