The U10 team went to Hampstead on Friday afternoon to take part in UCS’s annual rugby festival. There were 8 schools competing all together and the standard of Rugby was high. The boys played 4 games in total and were superb in every game. They won all of their pool games which meant that they played Belmont from pool 2 in a final game. This final game was a brilliant game to watch with both teams looking dangerous on the attack. Habs looked in control at half time with a three-try-cushion, however, Belmont, came back with two very quick tries and the game was in the balance for a short period before Hab’s replied with two tries of their own. The boys were terrific throughout and importantly, played as a team. They scored some excellent tries in which there were several phases of play involving several team members. All the boys can be proud of their efforts. Special mention to Ore who was awarded player of the festival.
The team: Ore, James, Raees, Sahil, Dev, Daniel, Joshua, Arjan, Kian, Alex
