Discovering the full potential of emerging technology

On Tuesday 30th June, Dave Coplin came in to talk to the Staff and boys. Dave is the Chief Envisioning Officer for Microsoft responsible for helping us understand the full potential of emerging technology and advising us on how we can become the masters not the slaves.

We are in an era where technology is a large part of our daily lives and the boys need to develop coping mechanisms. He spoke with great passion making the boys reconsider the purpose of technology today and in the future. He talked about some of the new technologies Microsoft are creating like HoloLens and Windows 10; stating what he envisioned them to be doing for the people of the future.
