On Thursday 21st May 2015 nearly 60 boys (largely from Y7 and Y8) squashed into G17 to watch a documentary film, FOOD INC.  It sought to expose the corporations in America that put profit ahead of consumer health and the environment.  Boys will certainly never look at their dinner the same way again!  Thank you to Kush Dhawan and Joel Carlowe who ran this production (Y10) so smoothly in the absence of our Y12 team.  These boys promoted the books FARMAGEDDON: the true cost of cheap meat and” The Vitamin Murders: who killed healthy eating in Britain?” from our Geography Library – promoting literacy beyond the curriculum.
