Earlier this month, 10 members of Habs CCF Army Section, ably Commanded by Cadet Under Officer Ayaan (Army Scholar), traveled to Harrow School to compete against nine other London District CCF contingents in the Guthrie Cup, accompanied by Capt. Gannarelli and Cpl. Maj. Sandercock.
Against some extremely strong competition, Habs acquitted itself well, especially in the Section Attack, Shooting and Fitness stands, and while we didn’t leave with any silver, the boys had a hugely exciting day.
This culminated in addresses by Lt. Colonel Land, the Contingent Commander and Headmaster of Harrow School, and by Her Majesty’s representative, the Deputy Lieutenant of Harrow.
