John Hoskison speaks to Lower Sixth

Our guest speaker today was John Hoskison.

As part of our Enrichment lecture series, John spoke to the Sixth Form about his time as a top professional golfer, and a mistake he made which ended in a prison sentence.  The Lower Sixth listened attentively as John recounted his sudden fall from fame and success, and the grim realities of a life behind bars. From coping with peer pressure and personal crisis to the importance of resilience and common sense, the talk offered our students incredibly valuable and thought provoking life lessons. The talk was followed by an excellent Q&A which gave our students the opportunity to learn more about John’s powerful story.
