Representatives from primary secondary teaching and the ministry of education visited Habs in the snow. They are carrying out their year of conversation before they revise their Computer Science and Science curricula
They were very interested in the depth of our teaching in Science and our striving for individuality, creativity and curiosity in Computer Science.
Habs science and computer science teachers really made them feel welcome in their lessons and the boys are to be congratulated for the way they were able to communicate with the South Koreans. Some boys in Computer Science had used Google translate for their documentation so the visitors could appreciate the work they are doing on a deeper level and staff took time to explain teaching methods and engage in conversations about their use of technology.
In return we were given copies of their new innovative resources and talked through their website focusing on preparing the future of Korea – Promoting science culture and fostering creative human resources.
