Orator of the Year Competition

Monday 8 May saw the first round of the Orator of the Year competition, a competition whose revamped format ensured that every Y9 student in the school took part. Boys spoke for one minute with the aim of engaging, informing and entertaining their peers on a variety of topics, including The Definition of a Gentleman, Daytime TV, Wasps and Virtual Reality. The second round of the competition will be held between Monday 15 and Friday 19 July. 18 teams of orators will now fight it out for places in June’s Grand Final.
