On Thursday 26 November, Year 3 were invited by The Woodland Trust to plant some trees to help create a new local wood at Heartwood Forest in Sandridge, St Albans.
The Woodland Trust aim is to increase young people’s understanding and appreciation of trees and woodland, ensuring their enjoyment and protection for future generations.
The boys really enjoyed the session. They especially liked getting muddy and finding some very big worms! Well done to the boys for planting over 200 trees.
