This term has been another busy term of sport for the boys in which there were some great moments across a variety of sports. We held our own Year 3 cricket festival for the first time at Habs and it was great to see so young people so engaged and enthused playing on our 1XI outfield. The Year 3,4 and 6 tennis teams took part in the Herts Schools Tennis tournament with great success and boys across the years enjoyed their cricket fixtures against other schools. The love for cricket in the Prep school is great to see and we have a number of talented players with bright futures in game.
This year we have been awarding values badges in sport and more than 80 boys across the years received one. This is a testament to how well the boys conduct themselves on the field of play. Our values of Teamwork, Respect, Creativity, Courage and Leadership were shown in abundance on our sports day this year. How they helped and encouraged each other throughout the whole day was fantastic. There was some fantastic achievements throughout the day and two particular highlights were Ore Adebayo breaking the school high jump record and Jacob Mendes da Costa winning the Year 5 1500m by 80m or so.
