During their Field Day trip, our cadets were ready to ‘seize the day’ and embrace the programme of activities offered by the centre at Queen Mary Sailing Club.

Our 23 cadets from Years 10, 11 and 12 took to the water on a range of vessels including windsurfs, a giant paddleboard, and the larger and faster sailing boats. They threw themselves into the activities (quite literally in some cases) and their enthusiasm is to be commended given the cold winds. Some were trying out activities for the first time, whilst other gained experience and polished their windsurfing and sailing skills.

The instructors at Queen Mary Sailing Club were very impressed with their groups and enjoyed working with the boys.

The School would like to thank Dr G Chapman and Miss Willows for accompanying the trip.
