The Royal Navy Cadets of the CCF always relish a challenge, and learning to windsurf in blustery conditions was certainly that. The instructors of Hillingdon Outdoor Activity Centre (HOAC) were impressed with the boys commitment and determination to succeed and thought that they managed the weather well during their taster session.
The cadets from Year 10 were given an introduction to rigging their boards and the basics of sailing and turning. Everyone managed to make good progress during the session with everyone making it out of the shelter of the bank and trees by the end.
As ever, the RN Cadets were a pleasure to take on a trip and it is always great to see the enjoyment on their faces as they challenge themselves in the outdoors.
