Shakespeare Off By Heart Competition 2020

As part of the Shakespeare Off By Heart Competition, organised by the English department staff, pupils in Year 7 were asked to create films of themselves performing one of Shakespeare’s speeches. This would usually be a live event, however, due to the current situation the criteria was expanded to include not only their performance skills but also their film-making abilities.

The results were genuinely joyous – the sheer endeavour and creativity of the boys, along with their talents and willingness to not play it safe, was wonderful to see!
