During February half term, 10 Upper Sixth students from Habs Boys and Habs Girls went to Berlin to put their language skills to the test and bring to life everything they have learned in both their German and History classes.

The group enjoyed an action-packed four days, visiting among other things the DDR and Stasi museums, the Holocaust Memorial, the Reichstag building, the East Side Gallery and Berlin Wall Memorial. Everyone made the absolute most of the opportunity to put their language skills to good use, even speaking to each other in German as much as possible.
It was a very fitting way to bring seven years of studying German at Habs to a close and an unforgettable experience all round.
