Congratulations to James (U6J2) and Abim (U6R1) who have been awarded first and third place respectively in the Duke Essay Prize Competition!

This essay prize is a nationwide scheme that encourages academic exploration, creativity and lateral thinking in students in Years 11 and 12. Inspired by the famous entrance exam for fellows at All Souls College, Oxford, students write an essay in response to a one-word title. The Prize rewards creativity, lateral approaches and engagement with subject beyond the curriculum. Click here to see more. Both James and Abim wrote about Perspective.

Well done, James and Abim!
