Sixth Formers place at LSE Schools debating competition

Congratulations to Alex (L6M2), Fola (L6M1), Keshav (U6H2) and James (U6J1) who participated in the LSE Schools debating competition.

HABS ALFO (Alex and Fola) broke in first place into the Gold Final. Unfortunately, once again they narrowly missed out on the win, debating ‘this House, as a homosexual person in China, would enter into a sham marriage’, coming second to a very capable Opening Government. 

HABS KKJC (Keshav and James), meanwhile having got off to a slow start managed to win the Bronze Final, debating ‘this house believes that it is immoral to have children’, overcoming stiff competition from Eton, Dulwich and Wycombe Abbey in a hotly contested final.
