Stir Fry Assembly

A particularly special assembly for the Junior Y7 and Y8 boys this morning when Mr Holmes ( Senior Tutor Middle School ) reminded them all that boys can, indeed, cook ! They we were able to watch Mr Holmes creating a culinary feast – a fish stir- fry.  He explained the origins of the dish and the health benefits. The Form Captains were able to taste the dish and while 9.15 was quite early for a stir-fry, we all tucked in.

My sincere thanks go to Mr Holmes for his energetic assemblies over the last twelve years where he has cooked for the boys and enabled generations of boys to get involved in his cooking competitions.
