Throughout the Spring Term, students attending the Summer Show Club on Thursday lunchtimes in Art have been busy preparing their entries for the Royal Academy’s Young Artists’ Summer Show.
The Young Artist’s Summer Show is a free, open submission exhibition for students aged 4 to 19 studying in the UK. Artworks are judged by a panel of artists and arts professionals, with selected artworks displayed online and on-site at the Royal Academy of Arts.
Each student decided upon their own theme and developed a personal and meaningful piece in a media of their choice. Some of our Lower Sixth students chose to submit their GCSE pieces. We wish them all luck in the competition!
