Under 13 Tennis team reach semi-finals

The Under 13 tennis team, made up of Arjun Parmar, Jay Patel, Joseph Salt, Freddie Arbuthnott and Joseph Pegg, have recently made excellent progress in the Herts County Tennis competition, reaching the semi-finals by topping their group.

With progress to the semi-finals resting on the outcome of the final match against Sandringham, Salt and Arbuthnott won their initial singles and doubles matches to take the tie into a tie-break shoot out. Parmar and Arbuthnott then held their nerve superbly to win 10-7 after some high quality exchanges at the net and a series of powerful winners. The team now awaits confirmation of their semi-final opponents.
