15 Year 10 pupils and six staff battled the elements and vegetation at Old Haberdashers. With Mr Haring keen to get his fixture played tomorrow and not wanting to lose any more balls over the boundary rope we spent the morning clearing the brambles and grass. The pupils worked well as a group to lop, cut and rake away the debris.
After lunch, the group headed over to the far side of the ground and started to clear some dense vegetation- making very good progress before the heavens unleashed some torrential rain. The group worked really hard for nearly five hours, never complaining, sharing roles and responsibilities to complete the task.
