Over the weekend of 7th and 8th March, Thirty-three year 12 geographers honed their fieldwork techniques and consolidated their theoretical understanding of coastal geomorphology with a three day residential fieldtrip to Dorset’s Jurassic Coast.

From investigating beach profiles on Chesil beach to exploring the geology of Durdle Door and carrying out species diversity transects on Studland’s dune system; the pupils worked hard, processing their findings and completing past paper questions in the evening.
