Year 5 visited the National Portrait Gallery on Tuesday 19 April. The boys were given a very informative talk on the Tudor portraits. They discussed what purpose the portraits served and how and who they were made for.
The boys enjoyed answering questions on six varied portraits encompassing subjects such as history, art and English. Staff and pupils were fortunate to have lovely sunshine and were able to enjoy an outdoor lunch in Trafalgar Square amongst the pigeons!
