The Art Department held their second Year 9 Art Factory event on Sunday 25 September. This gave our Year 9 artists the opportunity to choose two one-hour workshops from a range of diverse activities including: mask making, portrait drawing, life drawing, silk painting, hand-built pottery, thrown pottery and mono-printing. The aim of the day was to inspire and inform pupils ahead of options choices for Year 10.

The activities were led both by staff from the Art Department and former pupils of the school, Max Herbert and Greg Steckelmacher.

The event was a great success with the boys experiencing new skills and techniques and achieving some outstanding results, at the same time as having fun with their peers.
