Year 9 Joint School Geography Quiz

The Joint School Year 9 Geography quiz was a huge success with 19 teams participating and over 50 students involved! The quiz was written and run by Sixth form members of the Geographical societies from both schools and included a ‘Mixed Bag’ round (General Knowledge), a ‘Map Work’ round and a ‘Geography in the News’ round.

As the teams raced through the rounds on Tuesday lunch time, they faced questions on everything from the impact of the war in Ukraine on Global Energy supplies to the location of World Heritage sites such as Victoria Falls.

Teams from both schools performed outstandingly, with first place going to ‘The Historians’ (Alex Jones, Angus Clelland and Harjivan Singh) from the Boys’ school and second place to the Girls’ school.
