Friday 8 March saw the school take part in a whole school Field Day.
Our Year 9s were involved in a Relationships and Sex Education workshop.
The point of the morning was to give the boys an understanding of ‘consent’ and the law, supported by a workshop delivered by The Upfront Theatre Company. The workshop presented different scenarios involving consent , peer pressure and relationship building.
The boys then had the opportunity to have small group discussions about their knowledge of the topic, as well as the chance to ask some questions and interactive activities like the ‘Consent Handshake’ and ‘Conscience Alley’.
The boys demonstrated a real enthusiasm and open-mindedness during the morning.
The afternoon gave the boys an opportunity to take part in some sporting activities, with sessions in Hockey, Frisbee and Softball.
We would like to give our thanks to The Upfront Theatre Company and all the HABS teaching staff involved in RSE Morning.
