African and Caribbean Society lead a African drumming workshop during Black History Month

The African and Caribbean Society led African drumming workshops for all students at lunchtime on Wednesday 12 October. This was as part of a whole school project dedicated to Black History Month which has included students entering a competition to have their favourite meal made in the Bates, school wide assemblies celebrating Black heroes and an opportunity to partake in a cook off this half term.
