Students from across Habs Boys and Habs Girls came together on the Croquet Lawn for this year’s joint Co-curricular Fair, discovering the extraordinary range of clubs, societies and activities available. With students attending from Year 7 to Sixth Form, the event was a vibrant celebration of curiosity, creativity and community, showcasing the incredible breadth of opportunities available throughout the academic year.
From Codebreaking and the History Reading Club to Archery, Ceramics and VEX Robotics, students explored opportunities spanning academic enrichment, sport, creativity, leadership and service, inspiring many to step outside their comfort zone and try something new.
The fair provided students with the chance to meet club leaders, speak to fellow students about their experiences and discover activities that match their interests and ambitions. Whether pursuing a long-standing passion or taking a risk on something completely new, students were encouraged to find where they can thrive, contribute and belong.
Students from the Afro-Caribbean Society commented “It’s good to have those close-knit groups so you can always lean on people.” LGBTQ Society members shared that they feel they have a safe space where they can truly feel themselves.
Our Co-curricular programme plays a vital role in developing the skills and qualities that support success both in school and beyond. Through participation, students build confidence, resilience, leadership and collaboration while pursuing their individual talents and interests.
The annual Co-curricular Fair is a powerful reminder that learning extends far beyond the classroom. With opportunities for every interest and ability, it reflects our commitment to ensuring every student can explore new possibilities, discover hidden talents and become an active member of our vibrant school community.
